It’s the double for Barkston Ash Nursery School and The Play Base out of School Club; two Ofsted inspections within a week and OUTSTANDING both times, what an achievement.
Ofsted say we are ‘OUTSTANDING’ twice!
"We cannot be more delighted with our recent Ofsted outcomes" said Sue Williams and Tania Stafford, co-owners. It is the best recognition we can get for our wonderful dedicated team and to receive the highest validation confirms the outstanding work and commitment that all the staff have to young children’s learning and development.
Joanne Howson, deputy Manager commented: "Following the completion of my degree, I was offered a position at the nursery and out-of-school club, it is a privilege to work for two settings whose passion and drive it is to deliver the highest quality childcare through best practice led by excellent leadership and management."
The inspector confirmed that our dedicated drive to improve outcomes for children is at the heart of all our activities, and our long-established team share the same vision for quality and the highest expectations for our children.
The report also states that “staff provide superior levels of support for children and their families. Meticulous care is provided for children’s emotional and physical needs to ensure a consistent approach coupled with the exceptional support for children who have special educational needs or disabilities.
The management is highly proactive in working in partnership with parents, carers and external agencies to secure the best support to meet children’s individual needs.
However, we must not forget that this would not be possible without the incredible support from our parents and carers and the wonderful children who this success is built on.
